I went back to work today and enjoyed taking on some problems that I can solve. Cheryl did fine at home alone. She had several phone calls during the day and our neighbor Nikki came by at lunchtime and brought some soup that really impressed our somewhat picky eater.
Continue to pray that Cheryl will regain her strength and flexibility. I would really like to see her regain the weight she has lost and even put on some extra weight before she starts chemo next month. She is eating three meals a day and drinking Ensure but this seems to be only be enough for maintaining her present weight.
It's good to have a helpful neighbor close by. If I were a pickier eater I could keep some weight off but I love everything. Maybe you should start eating ice cream at bedtime. That's sure to put some weight on. I hope you're finding something to laugh at every day Cheryl. Prayer and laughter are great medicine. Love you and still praying.
ReplyDeleteWhat an encouaging report! So glad you are feeling better and able to eat. I wish we lived closer so that I could come over, sit with you, pray with you, feed you and laugh with you. I remember your beautiful laugh and would love to hear it now. I love you lots and am praying for you as you recover. Jud is a wonderful husband and soulmate! What a gift from God.
ReplyDeleteDon and I celebrate 31 years tomorrow. I am blessed. Hug each other for me!
