Cheryl has been scheduled for an appointment with Dr. Burke, the gyn-onc for next Wednesday morning 7/14. Her symptoms of abdominal bloating and fatigue remain pretty much the same. She was able to attend church this morning and it did her good to get out and spend time with our church family. We are walking in faith on what is to come but we are still a bit stressed by not knowing exactly what she will be facing in surgery and beyond.
Yesterday, I connected her computer to the TV in the den so she will be able to open the blog and read your comments from her nest on the couch.
Continue to pray with us for the best possible outcome.
Cheryl I will be praying for both you guys please keep us posted of when the surgury is how long you will be there and if you need anything please give me call
ReplyDeleteOur prayers are with you and the doctors to overcome this! Jud, please know we are here and will be happy to help however we can.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Cheryl,
ReplyDeleteDon is helping me get into your blog. In other words this is a test. You have been so much on my mind and in my prayers. I have to go now to see if this message comes up.
We love you guys and we're standing with you and many others in prayer. God is able - this we well know.
ReplyDeleteCheryl,
ReplyDeleteI just want to say that you and Jud are continually in my thoughts and prayers and that you will have the strength and courage for whatever may come in the days to follow.
“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31
My dear Cheryl, thank you so much for calling to give me the news about your cancer. Don and I are praying for you and your family. I was so encouraged and blessed by your faith in our dear Lord and Jesus. His grace IS sufficient for you as you walk through this valley. As shocking and surprising as this news was to you and Jud, it was not a surprise to our God. He is with you and He will comfort you. I am trusting in the "God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above ALL that we could ask or think..." Ephesians 3:20. HE IS ABLE!
ReplyDeleteI love you, sister,
Cathi
Jud and Cheryl,
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts and prayers are with you both as you face this. God understands hard times, He will hold you up and never let you go. I pray that God will hold you especially close today and the coming days ahead.
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

Good morning, Cheryl. I'm praying for you today. May you experience the peace that passes all understanding as you trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding.

Just wanted to let you know that Bethel's staff prayed for you yesterday afternoon. I sat in for you, Don annointed me with oil and we all prayed for you. "No weapon formed against you will prosper!" We are believing God for a miracle! I also emailed Brown & Ginger and Hu & Sherrill to ask them to pray.
ReplyDeleteLove you,
Cathi
Good morning, Cheryl and Jud! Just wanted to tell you that I looked at Michelle's blog and saw that your surgery is scheduled for the 20th (Wed.). I will be holding you both in prayer all day since I don't know what time the surgery is. He will hide you in the shadow of His wings and underneath are His everlasting arms. His grace is sufficient for you. His strength is made perfect in your weakness. He is the Great Physician and your Healer. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above ALL that you could ask or think. He will not forsake you. He is the lifter of your soul. Trust in Him with all your hearts and lean not to your own understanding. Your brothers and sisters in Christ are upholding you in prayer.
ReplyDeleteTrusting Him,
Cathi & Don
