We began Cheryl's pre-admission process at Memorial this afternoon. All of the multiple forms were reviewed and verified. Cheryl had blood drawn, an EKG and another chest x-ray ( the poor girl's going to glow before this is all over). She was so tired that she made the trip across the hospital from admissions to x-ray in a wheelchair. This is so out of character for the lady that usually parks at the distant end of the parking lot because it's easier to get in and out of the spaces and she really enjoys the longer walk to the store.
All of the staff that we encountered today were very thorough, courteous and helpful. The hospital wants to make sure that no details are left to chance as we work our way through the ordeal to come.
We were encouraged to see the doctor's prognosis of benefit from the surgery as good. We would rather see excellent or super-duper but we still praise God for the ray of hope.
The kids and grandkids are coming for a visit so I'm sure that Grandmama Honey will have her mind taken off her aches for a little while.
Cheryl begins her prep on Monday which is the same as for a colonoscopy. Our special prayer for these next few days is for safety for our kids as they travel and that Cheryl will stay adequately hydrated and nourished and that the prep will not be too debilitating.
I know how much you love being with your kids and grandkids, Cheryl. I pray that the joy of having them with you will overshadow everything else. Our hope is in the Lord and we look to him each day for your healing.

Our health springs forth speedily. Jehovah Raphah [ he (God) has healed] is who makes bitter experiences sweet, takes sickness away from the midst of us and blesses our bread and our water.
Every name that is named must bow to the Name of JESUS, Jesus the Healer.
The name of stroke and all symptoms must bow to the name of Jesus, the name of tuberculosis must bow to the name of Jesus. I curse any flu symptom, anything that is a virus, anything that is an infection and all cancer, I say that your body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost and the Light of God drives it out right now in the name of Jesus.
Any words that you have spoken that would bring sickness to you, I command them to fall to the ground right now and that LIFE is in the power of the tongue. All the scriptures talk of how His WORDS are health to your flesh, I claim them for you right now. I say that your flesh is HEALTHY and any spirit of infirmity must go from you right now, and any generational curse that you received from your ancestry.
I say that you are born of the Spirit, not just born of the flesh, that you do not receive that heart condition from your family, that you do not receive that high blood pressure from your family, that you receive the The Life of God, the Health of God. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, His Spirit quickens, makes alive, makes whole your body. I command sickness to leave your house. It is written that no plague shall come near your dwelling. I say that when people walk in the doors of your home that they receive healing, that this is a place of health and wherever anyone is right now, in that bed, in that hospital room, in that convalescent center, in that prison, healing is coming right now, this is the hem of his garment, touch it right now.
Be whole of any plague, be made whole, be every whit whole, YOU ARE HEALED. YOU ARE WHOLE, BY HIS STRIPES YOU ARE HEALED, I plead the blood of Jesus over your physical body, I call you free from every curse, not only physical healing, I call you free from depression, free from anything that is emotionally disturbing you, I say that you have mental health that you are not losing your memory, that you have the mind of Christ, that Jesus has given you wisdom, that your mind is getting stronger and better as you get older, MY LATTER IS GREATER THAN MY FORMER, with long life He satisfies me and shows me His salvation. I rebuke the spirit of death in Jesus name. I will live, I will flourish as a green olive tree in the Courts of God, BE WELL, BE WHOLE, and be healed in JESUS name.
