We all went to see Mom yesterday. Jonas was SO excited to visit Grandmama. He wasn't too put off by all the tubes; in fact after we'd been there a few minutes he decided to "explain" the IV tubes to us and told Mom that "after that bag of medicine is all done, you will feel better!"
The kids and I stayed for a short visit, then headed home to cook something appetizing for Dad and clean the house a bit. Dad stayed up at the hospital for the rest of the day. He said they had a number of visitors and a couple of flower deliveries, too! We have so appreciated all the support & prayers coming our way. It has really been "the hands of Christ" to us the past few days.
Everything was pretty much status quo when Dad left around 7:30 pm, except for a slightly elevated fever.
